6. Does it also help those trying to conceive? How so?
When you are pregnant you may feel that your body has a mind of its own. Yoga helps you to listen to the rhythm of your body and respect what it is telling you. Likewise, when trying to conceive you can learn to quieten your mind, tune in to your body and move energy from the head to the pelvis.

7. How often in a week would you recommend mothers to practice yoga?
The more often you practice your postures, the easy and more rewarding it will become. Practicing a few postures every morning and evening will keep backache at bay and energy levels up. May also help with sleep problems if practiced just before retiring, followed by a warm glass of milk.
